We request and collect your personal data when you apply to become a member of Australian Comedy Studies Collective or subscribe to our newsletter. This Privacy Policy lists the data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Members

We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to maintain a register of members and to comply with the rules governing ACSC as an incorporated association. The data we collect includes:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address
  • Your postal address
  • Membership type and payment category (graduate, concession, waged)
  • The dates you joined, renewed, and/or ceased your ACSC membership

This information is stored securely and is accessible only by elected members of the ACSC Committee. Your email address will be used to send you official communications from the ACSC organisation, such as AGM notices and membership renewal reminders.

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, your email address and full name will additionally be stored in our mailing list management system and will be used to notify you of ACSC announcements, events, and activities.

We will never sell or share any of your personal information with a third party.
